Licensed Massage Therapist - Acupuncture and Holistic Healthcare Clinic in NE Portland Centered Healing is a well-established Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic in central NE Portland. We are seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist who wants to become part of a collaborative, integrative healthcare practice. This is a position for someone who wants to work with depth —not in a high-volume spa environment, but in a setting where presence, continuity of care, collaboration, and relationships with patients truly matter. Our clinic serves patients with diverse needs, ranging from acute and chronic pain to internal conditions such as digestive, hormonal, and autoimmune conditions. Our clinic is calm, serene, welcoming, and highly personalized, and we are looking for a massage therapist who values creating that same experience for their patients. You will be joining a small team that currently includes two Acupuncturists and Herbalists, along with dedicated front desk support. We are especially interested in practitioners who are drawn to Eastern and integrative therapeutic modalities . Experience with Cupping and Gua Sha is a bonus, but not required. Training in these modalities will be provided. Our front desk team handles patient greeting, scheduling, billing, and administrative responsibilities so that you can focus your time and energy on patient care. We won't simply give you a treatment room and expect you to build your practice on your own. We will introduce and promote you to our existing patient community, feature your services through our website, email and social media channels, plus appropriate referrals from our Acupuncturists. Our goal is to help you develop a steady, sustainable patient schedule. Compensation & Growth This position will initially begin part-time, approximately 2-3 days per week, with the opportunity to build a steady patient schedule. Compensation begins at $50 per 60-minute appointment, or $75 per 90 minute appointment plus 100% of gratuities received. You will also receive 50% of applicable cancellation fees for late cancellations and missed appointments. Massage appointments will be either 60 or 90 minutes, with a 15-minute transition period between patients, allowing adequate time to reset the treatment room and prepare for your next appointment. We recognize that building a consistent patient schedule takes time and we are committed to actively helping you build your practice at Centered Healing, with the goal of developing a steady schedule of approximately 4-5 appointments per day, depending on appointment length. During the initial growth period, there may also be opportunities for additional paid clinic-support hours at $18/hour for those interested. Most importantly, we are not simply looking to fill treatment-room hours. We seeking the right practitioner to grow with us.
