Job Description

Overview Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Summary The Licensed Massage Therapists will perform injury prevention and mitigation, rehabilitation exercise services, and human performance optimization services to Military personnel. Responsibilities Perform injury evaluations to identify painful or tense areas of the body. Perform various type of massages and provide guidance on stretching, strengthening, and relaxation techniques. Perform services specialized to meet the specific spinal health needs. Document client's conditions and progress. Clean and sanitize the workspace and equipment. Suggest future appointments and wellness regimes to clients. Maintain a safe and relaxing environment for clients. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally. Knowledge of various massage techniques and the ability to assess patient needs accurately. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate clients about treatment options and pain management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and patient assessment procedures.
