Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy approaches and develop customized treatment plans. Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and ensure comfort throughout sessions. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify areas of tension or pain and apply appropriate therapeutic techniques for effective pain management. Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and safety protocols by maintaining accurate treatment records and documentation. Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment routines, and injury prevention strategies to support ongoing wellness. Uphold the highest standards of patient service and customer care by creating a welcoming environment that encourages relaxation and trust. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Experience with patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Background in pain management strategies and occupational health therapies is highly desirable.
