Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans. Educate clients on pain management strategies, physiology, and anatomy to enhance their understanding of treatment benefits. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical terminology or observations. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols. Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and customizing sessions for optimal results. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and personalized treatment planning. Familiarity with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse clients. Knowledge of occupational health practices and maintaining hygiene standards in clinical settings.
