In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being. Our spa helps clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and combining various massage techniques with an understanding of physiology and anatomy. This position offers an opportunity to make a real impact on clients' lives, as many of the clients we serve are veterans or seeking medical massage assistance. Salary will increase after 3 months contingent on job performance. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs Conduct regular patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans aimed at pain management and/or relaxation Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health benefits as needed Maintain records of each session, including patient progress and treatment outcomes Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with health regulations and occupational health standards Requirements Valid massage therapy certification in accordance with state regulations Experience in patient service Proficiency in massage modalities such as deep tissue massage Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist diverse clients Ability to work full-time hours, including late afternoons or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules
