Neighborhood Family Wellness | Gap, PA Part-Time with Potential to Grow | W-2 Employee | $30-$35/hour Monday-Friday | No Weekends | No Late Evenings Neighborhood Family Wellness is seeking a skilled, warm, and dependable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our established family wellness practice in Gap, PA. This is a unique opportunity to step into an established massage schedule with an existing patient base. Rather than starting from scratch and spending months trying to build a book, you'll have the opportunity to begin caring for patients who already know and trust our practice and are actively seeking massage therapy services. The position will begin part-time, with the potential to grow based on patient demand and therapist availability. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves patient care, takes pride in creating an exceptional treatment experience, and wants to be part of a collaborative, supportive team. This position is ideal for an LMT who wants to focus on what they do best: providing excellent massage therapy and caring for patients , while practicing within an established office that provides the systems, patient community, and support around them. The Role Your primary responsibility will be providing massage therapy to our patients.
Responsibilities include:
Providing professional therapeutic massage within your scope of practice Reviewing relevant patient history and completing appropriate assessments Providing 30-, 60-, and 90-minute massage services Completing accurate and timely patient documentation Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional treatment space Educating patients and making appropriate recommendations within your scope Supporting continuity of care and appropriate rebooking Maintaining professional boundaries and excellent patient communication Communicating supply or equipment needs Working collaboratively with our providers and administrative team Contributing to the practice and helping the team as needed during working hours Educating patients about appropriate massage add-ons and wellness products available within the practice when they may complement the patient's care Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Hold an active Pennsylvania Massage Therapy license Are dependable, professional, and confident in your clinical skills Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Genuinely care about the patient experience Enjoy building long-term relationships with patients Take initiative and ownership of your role Are comfortable educating patients about appropriate ongoing care Value being part of a team and are willing to help when needed Want to continue learning and developing professionally Take pride in the care you provide and the environment you help create Experience or additional training in prenatal massage, craniosacral therapy, therapeutic massage, or other specialty techniques is a plus, but not required. An established massage patient base and existing schedule to step into Professional treatment room and workspace Front desk and administrative support Scheduling and appointment management Patient check-in and checkout Payment collection and processing Electronic health record and documentation systems Practice marketing and online presence Internal referral opportunities Treatment supplies and practice infrastructure Massage treatment add-ons to enhance and personalize the patient experience Access to Rowe Casa Organics products available within the practice A collaborative, team-oriented environment Support for building and maintaining a consistent patient scheduleYou are joining an established practice and team, allowing you to focus your energy on providing excellent care rather than carrying the responsibilities of operating a private practice on your own. Compensation & Opportunity to Grow $30-$35/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and specialty training This is a part-time W-2 position with the potential to grow as patient demand and the therapist's schedule develop. Initial hours will be structured around current patient demand and mutually compatible availability. As the therapist develops a consistent patient schedule, there is opportunity to add additional hours. We want to build the position sustainably for both the therapist and the practice. Schedule Our workable massage therapy hours fall within: Monday-Friday No weekends No late evening appointments Specific days and hours are flexible within those parameters and will be discussed during the interview process based on practice needs and candidate availability. Treatment appointments include dedicated time for documentation and room turnover: 30-minute massage: 45-minute appointment block 60-minute massage: 75-minute appointment block 90-minute massage: 105-minute appointment block About Neighborhood Family Wellness Neighborhood Family Wellness is an established, family-centered wellness practice serving Gap and the surrounding community.
