Job Description

Job Overview $2400 INCENTIVE! Spavia King of Prussia is hiring full time massage therapists at our independently owned luxury spa—where guests relax, recenter, and renew.
Compensation Snapshot:
$40-$60 per 60-min service including typical gratuities; illustrative $54,000-$60,000/yr at ~35 hrs/week, plus retail commission & performance bonuses. Actual pay varies by experience, modality mix, and schedule; transparent ranges provided at interview. Lead responsibilities are separate from treatment work and are paid hourly at $20 while hands-on treatments continue to be paid per-treatment with applicable gratuities and commissions.
Schedule:
Full-time; weekend/evening; 10-minute turnover between guests.

Our busy membership base keeps schedules steady, and our menu spans signature/therapeutic massage, deep tissue, salt stone, sports, prenatal, and popular enhancements like cupping, CBD, Hypervolt percussion—all supported by paid training, a collaborative team, and room standards that make great service repeatable. Join us in shaping an exceptional spa experience. Lead Responsibilities
    Team Management:
    Build and balance weekly therapist schedules; manage swaps/requests; ensure peak-time coverage and maximize provider utilization.
      Training & Coaching:
      Onboard new MTs; coach body mechanics, service protocols, SOAP quality, and enhancement uptake; mentor for a consistent 5-star guest experience.
        Sales, KPIs & Reporting:
        Lead daily huddles and maintain a visible scoreboard; drive membership and retail goals; track/report utilization, rescheduling %, enhancement attach rate, and guest reviews/NPS; execute monthly campaigns.
          Standards & Guest Experience:
          Model Spavia treatment standards; ensure thorough consultations, ethical upsells, and clear home-care guidance with pre-scheduling.
            Cleanliness, Safety & Presentation:
            Oversee room readiness (linens, warmers, tools), sanitation, and safety checks so every space is clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
              Hiring & Onboarding:
              Assist with interviews/auditions, orientation, and modality training; uphold Spavia Brand Standards and guest-journey scripts.
                Inventory & Equipment:
                Monitor massage product/back-bar levels, enhancement supplies, and linens; coordinate ordering/receiving and par levels; control shrink and maintain equipment.
                • Community Relations (as assigned): Support relationships with local schools; attend job fairs and recruiting events; help build internship pipelines. Qualifications
                • Active state Massage Therapist license
                • Reliability, punctuality, professional communication, and a guest-first mindset.
                • Weekend/evening availability with flexibility
                • Ability to support brand initiatives, promotions, and service rollouts by modeling best practices.
                • Experience representing departmental needs professionally to spa leadership.
                • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide constructive, brand-forward feedback in daily operations.
                • Recognized as a high-performing specialist who consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences and models excellence for peers.
                • Demonstrated ability to inspire others through strong personal performance, professionalism, and consistent adherence to brand standards. What You'll Gain
