Job Description
Job Overview Stetler's Gym is a private gym of members who are 18 or older with very high achievers. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Independent Contractor Massage Therapist to join our brand new gym in Royersford, Pa. We are looking to begin building our Wellness Team and growing together. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services tailored to meet each client or gym members unique needs, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and access to all gym members while maintaining the high standards of professionalism at building your dream book of clients. Our massage room could be shared with other massage therapist or if you decided to be our full time massage therapist, the room will be yours! Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific concerns. Ability to work with fitness competitors an ensuring they get relief while training for up coming shows. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals. Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care techniques to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, hygiene standards, and licensing requirements for massage therapy practice. Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their health objectives and lifestyle. Provide your own proof of insurance Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Ability to socialize with members and be a part of our already amazing gym community and culture. Proven experience in patient service with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques for pain relief. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and adapt treatments accordingly. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client appointments efficiently while maintaining high-quality care. Commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy practices and healthcare trends.
