Wage💲 Starting at $26.00/hour , with pay based on experience. What You'll Do As a Massage Therapist, you'll play an important role in promoting health, wellness, and relaxation throughout our community by: Providing massage and body treatment services to clients of the Day Spa at the Cultural Center, including room calls to Residents in supportive living buildings Consulting with clients regarding their medical histories and challenges with stress or pain to determine how massage therapy can best meet their needs Educating clients on postural improvement, stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises Assisting with answering phones, scheduling appointments for spa services, and updating appointments as needed Supporting the development, promotion, and implementation of Day Spa programs including massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures for independent living, assisted living, and structured living Residents Participating in health and wellness educational workshops and promotional events for Residents Communicating with Residents regarding questions, concerns, and/or complaints related to massage and body therapy programs Assisting with daily bookkeeping responsibilities and processing payments for spa services and retail products Preparing treatment rooms and completing clean-up after each client Assisting with laundry duties at the Cultural Center Maintaining ethical standards in accordance with Willow Valley Communities guidelines and Massage Therapy Professional Ethics guidelines Attending team and community meetings as needed Demonstrating strong organizational, time management, and planning skills Delivering exceptional customer service Adhering to all Pennsylvania state licensing laws and regulations ✅What We're Looking For Current Pennsylvania Massage Therapist License Completion of at least 600 hours of consecutive massage therapy training at a state-approved school, including a minimum of 175 hours in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology Membership with either the Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals (ABMP) or the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Completion of at least 24 continuing education credits every two years
