Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and pain points Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, medical history, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including treatment plans and patient responses Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals or occupational health teams when necessary to coordinate patient care Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality Experience Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations Proven experience in patient service with a focus on pain management and physiologic understanding Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess and treat patients Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace wellness programs Embark on a fulfilling career where your therapeutic skills foster healing, relaxation, and improved quality of life.
