Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's unique condition and goals. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on post-treatment care. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and following all licensing and legal requirements. Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Promote excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client loyalty and satisfaction. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice legally. Proven experience in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) from an approved organization. Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and education on wellness practices.
