Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, with a focus on enhancing the overall well-being of our clients. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a passion for helping individuals manage pain and promote relaxation. Responsibilities Perform various types of massages, including deep tissue, Swedish, use of hot stones techniques tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and address specific concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices. Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage. Pre-natal massage would be a plus! Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Strong patient assessment skills to identify individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. $50.00 - $110.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
