Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with privacy standards Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment that adheres to health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide exceptional customer service Stay current on industry best practices, new techniques, and certifications such as CPR to continually enhance your expertise Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with active licensing credentials Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Skilled in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate treatment plans clearly Knowledge of pain management techniques and experience working within medical or med spa environments preferred Certification in CPR and first aid required or willing to obtain upon hire Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules Embark on a rewarding career where your healing touch makes a real difference!
