Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific areas of pain and tension Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, health history, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness and pain management Maintain detailed treatment records and document client progress in compliance with medical and licensing standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and occupational health guidelines Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service quality Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and developing tailored treatment plans Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences that improve lives!
