Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Compensation is $20 per hour + limited commissions + gratuity. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies to enhance long-term wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology and confidentiality standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management plans when necessary. Ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment by delivering excellent customer service and attentive guest service throughout each session. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certifications related to med spa services and physiotherapy advancements. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in client service, client assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a luxury spa or occupational health setting is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hygiene.
