Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with licensing regulations and clinic policies Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance Communicate effectively with clients about their comfort levels, treatment plans, and any contraindications or medical considerations Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent client communication skills Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments In-depth knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans Experience with pain management strategies and understanding of injury rehabilitation processes Knowledge of medical safety protocols including CPR certification and sanitation standards Previous experience working in med spas or wellness clinics is highly desirable Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that puts clients at ease Familiarity with occupational health principles and client confidentiality standards Join us in delivering outstanding therapeutic care that transforms lives!
