The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human physiology and anatomy, with the ability to provide exceptional patient service. You will be responsible for delivering various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to promote relaxation, pain management, and overall wellness for our clients. Fisher Therapeutics is a privately owned occupational / physical therapy clinic in Fountain City. We are looking for a dependable person who enjoys providing customized care in a small, intimate/ alternative/holistic setting. This candidate would be willing to work regular PRN hours weekly. The schedule and pay is flexible. Please contact Gabrielle Fisher at 865.230.1128 Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and medical histories to tailor massage treatments effectively. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to perform various massage techniques, ensuring the highest level of care. Provide deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy as needed to address specific areas of tension or pain. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings when necessary to support patient recovery. Uphold excellent customer service standards, ensuring a positive experience for all clients throughout their visit. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in pain management techniques and familiarity with med spa environments is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence in treatment sessions. Previous experience in providing therapeutic massage services is highly desirable.
