Job Description
We at Body in Balance Massage Therapy are looking for Licensed Massage Therapists to help meet the needs of our fast-growing clientele at our Old Hickory/Mount Juliet location. This is an Independent Contractor position that pays $35.00 per contact hour plus tips. Body in Balance promotes long term relationships with our clients and our staff. Join our team and earn a $500 signing bonus after completing six months with us! To qualify, you must: Maintain an average availability of at least 20 hours per week during your first six months. Include a minimum of one weekend day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) in your regular availability. The bonus will be paid out at the six-month mark and is subject to applicable taxes. Job Duties:
At Body in Balance Massage Therapy, you will:- Confirm client appointments through the booking software on your personal device or on the company tablet on location. You will be able to make your own schedule and work at your own pace. You can schedule your own clients, or they will be scheduled for you based on your availability.
- Provide high quality client centered massages.
- Handle client checkout after each session.
- Prepare for the next client by cleaning the table, changing sheets, and wiping down surfaces.
- As a contractor, you are to supply all your materials to preform the job. You may use our music, tablets, diffuser as well as sheets and table at location. Please provide your own massage lotion.
- Independent Contractor to Employee option: After six months, we may invite you to officially join our team as a permanent employee.
