Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including treatment plans and client progress notes in compliance with health regulations Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, explain procedures, and foster a trusting relationship Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements related to physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, occupational health, and new massage techniques Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and customize treatments accordingly Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and occupational health practices Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client appointments efficiently Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences that empower clients to feel their best!
