Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and become a vital part of promoting wellness, relaxation, and pain relief for our diverse clientele. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pain management experience. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance on self-care practices. Maintain accurate documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment details, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a relaxing environment and ensuring client satisfaction throughout each visit. Follow all safety protocols and maintain certifications such as CPR to ensure a safe treatment environment. Stay informed about new techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, pre and postnatal massage, and medical or spa settings. Knowledge of Lymphatic Drainage massage will be a plus. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans. Excellent client communication skills with an emphasis on patient service and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and pain management. CPR certification required; additional certifications in occupational health or med spa treatments are a plus.
