The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through various massage techniques, contributing to pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills and a passion for helping clients improve their quality of life through therapeutic massage. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific patient needs. Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual conditions and goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Educate patients on self-care practices related to occupational health and pain management. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided and patient progress notes. Uphold high standards of patient service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a clean, safe treatment area. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations. Experience with patient assessment, swedish and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, , and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Prior experience working in a spa is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve patient well-being through therapeutic touch.
