Overview Join our dynamic team as a Massage Therapist and bring relief, relaxation, and wellness to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services that promote healing, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where your skills can flourish and make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities We are a new wellness clinic!! Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and adjust techniques accordingly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices, to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, pain management, and occupational health to enhance treatment effectiveness. Promote excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management principles to tailor treatments effectively. Exceptional client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and explain treatment options clearly. Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others achieve wellness goals. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and healthcare settings. Valid CPR certification and adherence to safety standards at all times. Previous experience in med spas or occupational health environments is highly desirable.
