In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals. Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback, treatment plans, and progress notes Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns during sessions Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advances in physiology and anatomy knowledge to continually enhance service quality Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally in the region Proven experience delivering a variety of massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management strategies Prior experience conducting patient or client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients Experience working in healthcare or wellness settings emphasizing patient or client communication and pain relief strategies Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in specialized massage modalities or occupational health are a plus Join us as a Licensed Massage Therapist where your expertise will help clients feel revitalized and achieve better health.
