Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through tailored therapies, creating a positive and rejuvenating experience. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, medical history, and client goals. Educate clients on post-treatment care, self-care techniques, and occupational health practices to enhance ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by following all health regulations and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to optimize patient outcomes. Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, addressing concerns, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and pain management strategies. Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatments clearly and empathetically. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and client satisfaction.
