Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize massage approaches accordingly. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to enhance long-term wellness outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including patient progress and treatment notes, in compliance with health regulations. Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout each session. Adhere to all licensing, safety protocols, and industry best practices to ensure a safe and professional experience for every client. Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent communication skills that foster trust and rapport. Strong ability to perform patient assessments accurately to tailor treatments effectively. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques focused on pain relief. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Knowledge of occupational health principles to support clients' work-related wellness needs. Prior experience working in med spas or similar environments is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to client care.
