Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional care and pain management for our clients. You will play a key role in enhancing patient service through effective patient assessments and tailored treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to health and wellness. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Administer various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform treatment decisions. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing their concerns effectively. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support occupational health initiatives and enhance overall patient care. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in massage therapy, including med spa treatments. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in pain management techniques and occupational health is preferred. Previous experience in a med spa setting is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and customer satisfaction. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
