Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment dedicated to health, healing, and customer satisfaction. This is a part time position. Must be available 2-3 times a week (either Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and pain points. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, medical histories, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health considerations, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment plans, patient responses, and progress notes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management strategies when necessary. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and maintaining proper sanitation protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service quality. Compensation per appointment pay is based on experience + tips Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Must have at least 1 year of experience Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and care. Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities preferred. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to tailor treatments effectively. Prior work in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and building rapport with clients.
