Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy practices. Educate clients on self-care routines, occupational health considerations, and pain management strategies for long-term wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment, listening attentively, and addressing client concerns professionally. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices through ongoing education and training. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques including deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety standards.
