Job Description

Are you tired of "Deep Tissue" burnout? Welcome to the future of Neurological Hygiene. The Kay Spot Sensory Laboratory is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who is fascinated by the intersection of touch, science, and the nervous system. Owned and managed by a Nurse Practitioner, our Lab doesn't do "traditional massage." We specialize in Sensory Artistry—using light-touch (knismesis), weighted grounding, and ASMR-inspired protocols to treat the nervous system, not just the muscles.

We value expertise. You receive a flat Artist Fee per session, plus aggressive bonuses for clinical add-ons and extensions.
The Role:
Evaluate each client for appropriateness and safety of sessions. Perform specialized experiences including Cranial Lull (Facial/Ear focus) and Follicular Calibration (Hair play). Maintain the "Lab Standard" for sanitation, including UV-C cycles for all instruments. Guide guests through their "Sensory Discovery Profile" to customize their down-regulation experience.
Requirements:
Active State License in Massage Therapy •without supervision requirement. A deep understanding of (or desire to learn) the Autonomic Nervous System and C-Tactile fibers. Exceptional "Soft Skills"—the ability to maintain a whisper-only environment and hold space for guests in high-stress states. An interest in ASMR and sensory-based healing modalities.
