Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques to include but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and/or lymphatic drainage massages to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on post-treatment care. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and enhance their overall experience. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually improve service quality. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, or other modalities. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and deliver effective treatments. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients. Ability to perform patient assessments and utilize medical terminology when necessary for client education or documentation. Valid VA state licensure as a Massage Therapist required. Experience with pain management techniques and understanding of medical conditions related to musculoskeletal issues. Pay:
$40.00 - $77.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
