Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's specific needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure optimal results. Educate clients on pain management techniques, muscle physiology, and occupational health practices to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medical terminology in compliance with health regulations. Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continually enhance your massage skills and therapeutic offerings. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Proven experience in patient service, assessment, and delivering effective pain relief through various massage techniques. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities used for pain management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their individual needs. Familiarity with occupational health principles to support clients' workplace wellness goals. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
