Job Description
The Metta Center is seeking a new massage therapist to add to our growing practice! We have served the clients in the surrounding Burke, Springfield and Fairfax for almost 17 years and are looking for new team members to support the local community. For our independent contractors, we offer competitive compensation, a flexible, negotiated schedule, a beautiful place in which to work, staff discounts on services (massage and in-house yoga classes), front-desk scheduling and organization, most of the materials/supplies/furniture needed to practice massage, and a long-term commitment to you as part of our family. Licensed Massage Therapist receives 45-50% commission (including annual increases) + 100% tips. We are searching for someone who has the following requirements: Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a Virginia Massage License Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a Fairfax County Massage Permit Preference will be given to candidates with at least 5 years of experience Ideally is trained & experienced in Prenatal Massage Training & experience in Lymphatic Massage is a bonus, but not required for hiring Must have your own transportation to & from work A desire to help build our community in Burke.
