Job Description
About Us We are an established chiropractic and wellness practice in Fairfax Station that has served Northern Virginia for more than 25 years. We are currently looking for a skilled, dependable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our practice as an independent contractor. Our massage clients come for a wide range of reasons, from relaxation and stress relief to deep tissue and therapeutic massage for muscle tension, chronic pain, postural issues, sports-related tightness, and general wellness. The Position We are looking for an experienced therapist who is highly skilled, professional, personable, and reliable. The right therapist should be comfortable working with a variety of clients and massage styles, able to listen to what each client wants and needs, and skilled at tailoring each session accordingly. We are especially interested in someone who values building long-term relationships with clients and becoming a dependable part of an established practice. Compensation $55-$70 per completed 60-minute massage, based on experience and skill, plus tips. Independent contractor (1099) position. Ideal Candidate Active Virginia Massage Therapist license Strong hands-on massage skills Experience with deep tissue, Swedish, sports massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial work, stretching, or other therapeutic techniques Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology Able to adapt massage techniques and pressure to individual client needs and preferences Professional, dependable, and punctual Personable with excellent communication skills Able to maintain appropriate client documentation when needed Interested in an ongoing position with an established practice An existing client following is a plus, but not required Experienced therapists strongly encouraged to apply Why Join Our Practice?
