Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness through therapeutic massage. Duties Perform various types of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history and specific concerns. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate techniques for effective treatment. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to medical terminology standards. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout the session. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Familiarity with patient service protocols and the ability to assess individual client needs effectively. Experience in providing services within a med spa environment is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
