Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs Conduct patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Provide education on pain management strategies and post-treatment care to optimize results Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with medical terminology and physiology knowledge Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional customer service throughout each session Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements for licensure renewal Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering therapeutic massage treatments Familiarity with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and address their individual needs Knowledge of occupational health practices to ensure client safety and comfort during treatments Join us in creating a positive impact through healing touch!
