Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry standards to continuously enhance service quality Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Demonstrated knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Proven experience with various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively Knowledge of occupational health practices to promote client safety and well-being CPR certification is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Prior experience in med spa settings or medical environments is preferred but not mandatory Ability to maintain professionalism while providing energetic and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering outstanding therapeutic experiences that help clients feel revitalized and healthier!
