- Perform therapeutic massages of soft tissues and joints to provide pain relief, improve circulation, and promote relaxation
- Assess clients' medical history, symptoms, and desired results to develop personalized treatment plans
- Apply appropriate techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage to address specific client needs
- Educate clients on proper posture, stretching exercises, and self-care techniques to enhance the benefits of massage therapy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal treatment outcomes
- Adhere to ethical standards and follow all relevant laws and regulations governing the practice of massage therapy ```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing physical examinations to assess clients' conditions and identify areas of concern
- Ability to provide acute pain management for clients with specific injuries or conditions
