In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services that promote muscle recovery, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve optimal health through personalized treatments, incorporating a variety of techniques and modalities. As a vital part of our team, you will foster a welcoming environment that encourages healthy lifestyle ,wellness regimens , and positive client experiences. Services You Will Provide Blue Aura clients receive fully customizable therapeutic massage sessions using a range of modalities and tools. You must be proficient in the following: Deep tissue massage
- chronic pain relief, knot reduction, and improved mobility Swedish/therapeutic massage
- stress relief, circulation, and relaxation Sports therapy
- athletic recovery, flexibility, and injury prevention Cupping therapy
- detoxification, blood flow enhancement, and deep relaxation Myofascial release and trigger point therapy Scraping/Gua Sha tools Lymphatic drainage massage Sessions run 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes.
All modalities and tools are included in client pricing at no additional charge. You must be comfortable delivering customized treatment plans based on each client's goals. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality therapeutic massage sessions across all offered modalities Conduct brief client intake consultations to identify wellness goals, problem areas, and health history Build and follow customized treatment plans for pain management, recovery, and relaxation Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment space Keep accurate client records and session notes Uphold all Blue Aura service standards and client experience expectations Adhere to Virginia state licensing requirements and professional ethics standards Maintain active liability insurance throughout the contract term Requirements Active Virginia massage therapy license in good standing Demonstrated proficiency in deep tissue, sports therapy, cupping, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy Ability to deliver fully customized sessions based on individual client needs Professional demeanor with strong client communication skills Current liability insurance (required prior to start date) Reliable, punctual, and self-directed Preferred Qualifications Experience with prenatal massage Established client base in the Virginia Beach area CPR/First Aid certification Experience working in a multi-service wellness or spa environment Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in patient service and patient care within a therapeutic or clinical setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with medical software systems for documentation and scheduling purposes. Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse client populations.
