The Role As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Nirvana, you'll provide personalized, client-centered treatments in a professional, welcoming environment. Your day-to-day may include:

Providing customized massage and bodywork sessions based on each client's needs, goals, and preferences. Incorporating modalities such as Medi Cupping, assisted stretching, and mobility techniques when appropriate. Conducting thorough intakes and communicating clearly with clients throughout their treatment. Maintaining accurate treatment notes and client records. Applying your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques to support client outcomes. Creating a safe, clean, and inviting treatment environment. Participating in team learning, training, and ongoing professional development. What We're Looking For An active Virginia massage therapy license. A genuine passion for massage therapy, bodywork, and client care. Experience in modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, prenatal, or medical massage. A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic bodywork. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a thoughtful bedside manner. A commitment to client safety, ethical practice, and continued growth. Current CPR certification. Experience with Medi Cupping, assisted stretching, or specialty certifications is welcome.
