About Lake Stevens Massage Therapy This role is at our new clinic in the Silver Firs area of Everett, WA 98208 — an easy commute from Mill Creek, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Lynnwood, and anywhere in south Snohomish County. We are a team of eight. Our work runs from clinical deep-tissue and injury recovery to straightforward relaxation, and most of our schedule is repeat clients rather than one-off gift certificates. We are small enough that you will know every person on the team by name, and established enough that you will not be handing out flyers to fill your schedule. About the role Twelve months from now, you will have a schedule of clients who ask for you by name, a treatment approach the rest of the team has learned from, and a body that still feels good at the end of a shift. You will own your treatment room and your client relationships. We will own filling your schedule, handling the front desk, and keeping the laundry done. What you'll do Deliver 60- and 90-minute sessions across deep tissue and therapeutic massage, Swedish and relaxation massage, prenatal massage, sports massage, and injury recovery. Trigger point and myofascial work welcome. Run a real intake — listen to what the client actually came in for, assess, and build a treatment plan rather than running the same routine on everyone. Chart accurately and on time, including SOAP notes for clinical and auto-injury (PIP) clients whose care may be reviewed by an insurance adjuster or referring provider. Communicate clearly during sessions about pressure, comfort, and draping, and hold professional boundaries without making anyone feel awkward. Keep your room and linens to the standard the next client would want to walk into. Flag when a client needs something outside our scope, and refer them as needed. What we're looking for New graduates are welcome. If you have just finished massage school and your Washington license is active, apply — we will teach you our charting, intake, and clinical workflow. Experienced therapists are every bit as welcome — tell us how you like to work and we will build the schedule around it. Required An active Washington State massage therapist license (LMT, formerly LMP), in good standing with the Department of Health. Current first aid and CPR certification (Washington requires the initial CPR course to be completed in person). The ability to deliver both deep tissue and relaxation work, and the judgment to know which one the client in front of you actually needs. Availability that includes some evening or weekend hours — that is when most of our clients can come in. Preferred Experience with charting and SOAP notes — helpful, not required. We will train you. Prenatal training and comfort with proper bolstering and positioning. Sports, injury recovery, or auto-injury (PIP) experience, including working alongside chiropractors or physical therapists. Additional modalities such as cupping, hot stone, or myofascial release. A real willingness to work and to take care of the person on your table — clients come back for therapists who show up for them. Compensation and benefits $40-$50 per hour depending on experience and modalities, plus 100% of your tips . You are paid an hourly rate for every massage on your schedule — including when a client cancels at the last minute. A no-show is our problem to solve, not a hole in your paycheck. W-2 employment: we handle payroll taxes, and you are covered by workers' compensation. One week of paid vacation after your first year. Paid sick time accrued based on the hours you work, in line with Washington law. Linens, lotions, oils, and laundry provided — you buy nothing to do your job here.
