Overview Join our Owens Chiropractic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist. We are looking for a full time therapist to work 30-32 hours a week. We are looking for a therapist well versed in medical, therapeutic massage. Proficiency in chart notes is s must. Duties Perform medically oriented therapeutic massage therapy utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, or cranial sacral. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Apply advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective therapy tailored to each client's condition. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and post-session care instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments administered within electronic record keeping. Promote a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Stay current with industry best practices and certifications such as CPR to ensure the highest standards of safety and care. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR. Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on pain management, trigger point therapy, sports massage. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a medical setting is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options. Experience delivering patient-centered care that emphasizes safety, comfort, and results. Familiarity with customer service best practices to foster positive client relationships and encourage repeat visits.

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
