Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address client-specific concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pain management experience. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations for ongoing wellness. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical terminology in compliance with health regulations. Ensure patient safety by adhering to CPR standards and following strict hygiene protocols during each session. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend exercises or stretches to support their health goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to optimize client outcomes and enhance overall service quality. Qualifications Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and client satisfaction. Ability to interpret medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in medical terminology or specialized massage techniques are a plus. Prior med spa experience or background in occupational health is preferred but not mandatory.
