Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage treatments to meet individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and goals, ensuring a customized experience Maintain detailed treatment records while adhering to medical terminology standards and privacy regulations Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside sessions Ensure all massage therapy procedures comply with licensing regulations and safety standards, including CPR certification when required Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes excellent patient service and customer satisfaction Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Strong patient assessment skills coupled with effective client communication abilities Knowledge of pain management strategies Certification in CPR or first aid as mandated by local regulations Prior experience working in med spas or healthcare settings is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism while providing attentive customer service in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help clients feel their best!
