Job Description
Overview We are an integrative healing center in Olympia, WA committed to whole-person care, specializing in trauma-informed and holistic modalities that support the physical, emotional, and nervous system health of our clients. Our team includes practitioners in mental health therapy, somatic and body-based therapies, acupuncture, and other complementary healing services. We work collaboratively to ensure clients receive individualized treatment experiences that address root causes, not just symptoms. We are seeking Licensed Massage Therapists who is passionate about integrative, holistic healing and trauma-informed bodywork. The ideal candidate values collaboration, respects the mind-body connection, and is committed to providing care that is both attentive and deeply attuned. This role involves working closely with our multidisciplinary team to support client treatment plans, offering massage therapy as part of a broader healing process. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop safe and effective treatment plans. Incorporate pain management strategies tailored to each client's condition, ensuring comfort and progress throughout their sessions. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies or exercises for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a welcoming, professional environment that emphasizes exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction. Requirements Strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and communicate effectively. Knowledge of occupational health principles to promote safe practices for both clients and staff. Previous experience working in a med spa or similar wellness setting is preferred. Certification or licensure as required by local regulations; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Ability to create a calming environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
