Licensed Massage Therapist

Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern. Educate clients on pain management strategies, physiologic responses, and recommended self-care practices. Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient progress, and health history in compliance with medical terminology standards and privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care. Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Stay current with industry trends, occupational health practices, and new modalities to continually enhance service quality. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering effective massage therapy treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients. Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
