The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering high-quality massage therapy services in a med spa environment. This position will start at Part Time and eventually grow to Full Time. Hours and wage to be discussed at hiring. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and desired outcomes. Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Provide excellent patient service by communicating effectively with clients about their treatment plans and progress. Stay updated on anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Collaborate with the Chiropractors in occupational health settings when necessary. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with clinic policies. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices. Experience in med spa settings is preferred but not required. Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to tailor treatments to individual needs. Strong communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
