We are a small, collaborative practice located in a beautiful restored 1906 mansion in Tacoma's Stadium District, and we are looking to welcome a 3rd therapist to our team. If you are fully licensed and love the craft of bodywork, but do not want the overhead, isolation, and administrative stress of running your own business, this role is designed as a true happy medium. We are actively moving toward a co-operative business model. We want to nurture and reward a dedicated collaborator for the long haul, with an option to move into co-operative ownership after one complete treatment year. Our first priority is working closely with you to build your client base up to your desired income level, with scheduling that honors your hands and your life outside of work. What We Offer & Compensation This is a fully supported W-2 position where your focus stays on your clients while the overhead is handled for you:

Clear, Transparent Pay:

Hourly base pay (minimum wage for administrative/on-site time) plus generous tips (averaging 15%) and commission per hands-on hour ($20 to $30 depending on experience and independence). For clarity, our therapists' average take-home is ~$60 per treatment hour .

All Supplies Provided:

A fully furnished, peaceful treatment room, linens, laundry, quality oils/creams, and scheduling software are completely taken care of. Just bring your hands and your presence.

Co-operative Path:

An invitation to step into co-operative buy-in/ownership after your first treatment year. What the Role Looks Like Provide intentional, customized therapeutic massage tailored to each client's unique needs and recovery goals. Conduct thoughtful, relational intake and follow-up conversations that foster trust, clear boundaries, and client longevity. Practice relational rebooking (we are happy to mentor and train you on this, with no aggressive sales tactics). Maintain clean, timely charting and uphold professional sanitation standards. Contribute to a grounded, supportive team culture where practitioners look out for one another's well-being. Qualifications Active Washington State Massage Therapist license (or active in good standing prior to your start date). Current CPR/First Aid certification. Availability for 15-20 hands-on hours weekly (about 18-24 hours on site). Solid anatomical foundation with a genuine curiosity for client care. Whether you are newly licensed or seasoned, we value openness and alignment over a long checklist of modalities, and we are happy to mentor.
