Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, and occupational health massage to meet individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and specific pain points Educate clients on treatment options, self-care practices, and post-massage recommendations for optimal results Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress reports Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements Communicate effectively with clients to build trust, address questions, and tailor treatments based on physiology knowledge and client feedback Stay current with industry best practices and new massage techniques through ongoing professional development Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and medical terminology understanding Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds Experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client appointments efficiently Knowledge of pain management techniques and client communication strategies for effective therapy outcomes Join us in creating a welcoming space where clients feel cared for and empowered on their wellness journey.
