Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and provide guidance on post-treatment care. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with privacy regulations. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate services for ongoing wellness or pain management. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety standards, including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical or spa settings. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Experience conducting patient assessments and developing personalized treatment plans. Familiarity with occupational health practices and pain management techniques. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Prior experience in med spa environments or wellness centers is highly desirable. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all treatments.
