Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires the ability to assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver effective therapeutic services in a professional environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each patient's condition. Implement pain management strategies through effective massage therapy practices. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism in the treatment area. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficient in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and conditions. Expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management. Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Familiarity with occupational health principles and practices is an advantage. Previous experience in a spa setting is preferred but not required. Experience with disabilities is a plus.
